Magical evening, the other night. I was returning home from THE WILD PARROTS OF TELEGRAPH HILL screening at the Embarcadero. (Highly recommended!) The BART car we entered was towards the back of the train. There were many bikes in view, we almost chose a different car to enter, but braved the steel spokes and tangled flesh of the populous doorway to find...PartyCar in full swing!!!
It was delerious good fun to be so welcomed and swept up into a mobile art show. Frames were hanging from the handrails, stickers and cardboard signs were strategically deployed, instruments were played, manifestos declaimed.
I'd long been missing something, and realized then that it was the fugitive spontaneity of the PartyCar. It found me! Again! (But am I saved?)
